Accredited Reinsurer Filing Requirements:
Affidavit of Filing and Financial Statement Attestation for
Accredited Reinsurers that file with the NAIC:
Accredited Reinsurers are required to file a signed jurat page
if the Reinsurer's quarterly or Annual Statement is timely filed
with the NAIC.
For Accredited Reinsurers that do not file with the
NAIC, a quarterly or Annual Statement is required.
AR-1 is to be filed quarterly.

Foreign companies are now required to file financial statements only with the NAIC. However, the foreign companies are required to file a jurat page in Iowa. (Note: domestics are still required to file hard copy financial statements with Iowa.)
