Request for Proposals for Creating Online Training for Medicare and Related Health Insurance

The Iowa Insurance Division (the Division) is seeking proposals from qualified service
providers for professional consultant services to develop and execute an online training
program for Medicare and related health insurance topics. The Division’s Senior Health
Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) offers confidential, one-on-one counseling
throughout Iowa from trained volunteers regarding Medicare coverage options. SHIIP is
seeking a service provider to assist in the process of creating parts of the online training.
It is the intention of the Division that SHIIP will be the experts concerning the content of
the online training, and the Division seeks a service provider that can be the expert in
designing and creating the online training using Adobe Connect/Presenter (and
PowerPoint).

The Division intends to award a contract beginning on March 20, 2013 and ending on
December 31, 2013. Any contract resulting from this RFP shall not be an exclusive
contract.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit competitive proposals for these
services.
