Second Injury Fund Assessment

Sufficient funds are not available to meet the liabilities of the Second Injury Fund. Therefore, an assessment will be imposed upon insurers and self-insured employers in the State of Iowa.  The assessment is $5.6M.  Notices were e-mailed from this office on August 23, 2011.  The assessment amount is due by September 30, 2011.
